Carl Warner – Photographer
October 21, 2008
This is a photograph taken by one of my favorite photographers: CARL WARNER.
What i really love about his work is the fact that he’d get anything he’d find from home appliances to scrap objects and place them in a way that, with good lighting, would make them look really appealing.
Take for example this can of Coca-Cola. What I really like in this piece is how he made an object of practically no value look really good. It is through the position of the can, the lighting that created bright red areas and darker ones where it is out of shape, and the contrast between the bright red and the clear white that makes this piece appealing.
Personally, I would own such a photograph.
